Reflective barricade tape is a crucial component of safety barricades, widely used to mark off hazardous areas and construction sites, or to serve as a barrier for restricted zones. Key considerations when selecting reflective hazard tape include:
1) Stripe Colors:
White/orange and white/red are the most common stripe color combinations, depending primarily on your intended use. Custom color combinations—such as yellow/black or yellow/red—are also available.
2) Stripe Width:
You should select the stripe width based on the type of barricade. A 4-inch stripe width is typically suitable for barricades shorter than 36 inches, while a 6-inch width is recommended for barricades longer than 36 inches.
3) Diagonal Stripe Angle:
The standard angle for diagonal stripes is 45 degrees. You should select either left-slanting or right-slanting stripes based on your specific application requirements.
4) Retro-reflectivity Grade:
You can choose from Engineering Grade, EGP grade, and HIP grade, based on application requirements and budget considerations. Among these, EGP grade offers the best cost-performance ratio.
