The thickness of 3D heat transfer vinyl determines that the temperature and time of heat pressing will be longer (except 3D puff htv vinyl). And some super thick iron on patches need to be heat pressed twice on the front and back (such as 1000 micron silicone patches).
3D htv vinyl is cut the same way as regular vinyl, both require mirror cutting. The only difference is that 3D vinyl is cut slower and with a deeper cutter depth.
